How to Donate
Women's Services accepts donations in a variety of ways. Donations to a specific program, such as the shelter, are always welcome; however, if you are undecided, you can always make an unrestricted donation, which means we will put the money towards a program that we determine needs it most. We accept donations throughout the year, but below are some specific ways to contribute.
ANNUAL FUND
This is our simplest, most straight forward way to make an unrestricted donation. Our annual fund drive takes place every year starting in February. Look for a letter in the mail with more information on how to support this drive. If you are not on our mailing list and would like to be, call our business office at 724-4637.
ENDOWMENT FUND
If you would like to make a donation that will support the agency's future, consider this option. Our Endowment Fund was started in 2000 with a bequest from the estate of Ruby E. Campbell with a goal of $100,000 and is managed through the Crawford Heritage Foundation. We are pleased to say that in 2006 we reached this goal, and are now looking to set a new goal of $200,000 in the next five years. Contributions may be made in the following ways:
- Cash
- Bonds
- Insurance policies
- Retirement Plans
- Real Estate
- Bequests and Trusts
- Stocks of Appreciated Assets

IN KIND DONATIONS
This is a non-cash donation, and can include food, toiletry items, bedding, car seats, strollers and towels, to name a few. We do not accept clothing or large furniture items due to storage limitations, although we do occasionally need mattress and box spring sets. Women and children's underwear and socks still new in the package are accepted. Please call the business office if you have something to donate but are not sure if it is appropriate.
