General donations to Women's Services are always welcome. To make a donation in the name of a loved one to honor them or memorialize them, include the name of the person in the comment section on PayPal as well as their contact information so we can notify them of your gift.
Other ways to donate to Women's Services are:
Annual Fund Drive -
In February, Women's Services conducts an Annual Fund Drive to raise money to supplement the grants and other funding we receive. If you would like to be on our mailing list, complete this form.
The Gillian Ford Endowment Fund -
In 2000, a bequest from the estate of Ruby E. Campbell provided funding for Women's Services to establish an Endowment Fund. In 2008, the fund was renamed the Gillian Ford Endowment Fund in honor of Gilly Ford who served as Executive Director of WSI from 1998 till 2008.
The fund is managed by the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation, a nonprofit community foundation which serves all of Crawford County. The Foundation accepts gifts in any amount and in almost any form (cash, bonds, stocks or appreciated assets and property). The Foundation may also be designated a beneficiary (in whole or in part) of a life insurance policy, individual retirement account (IRA) or charitable trust. For more information, you can contact the Foundation's Executive Director, Christian Maher, at (814) 336-5206.
By donating to this fund, you have the power to improve circumstances of adults and children whose lives have been affected by domestic and sexual violence. A gift to the Gillian Ford Endowment Fund will help ensure that shelter and counseling are available to people recovering from crisis. It will also support education and prevention programs aimed at breaking the cycle of abuse.
